The Guilderland Historical Society will be a vibrant, highly regarded community organization, appealing to people of all ages, and widely supported in the Town.  We will be valued for our collections, our website, and our engaging programs that present, interpret, and preserve our history.  We will promote making connections to our past to inform our responses to contemporary issues.

Frederick House News

Frederick House News is the official newsletter of the Guilderland Historical Society. It is written by Mary Ellen Johnson and is issued 8 times a year, excluding  July, August, December and January, when the society does not hold regular meetings.The newsletter is sent to all members of the society and includes feature stories on local history, historical photos and historical society news.Meetings feature a guest speaker and refreshments as well as the discussion of Guilderland Historical Society business.

The Guilderland Historical Society meets at 7:30 pm on the third Thursday of every month, except in the months mentioned above. New members are always welcome.

In June, there is a field trip to a local historic site with luncheon following.You can see some pictures of recent field trips in the photo gallery.
